ARTS
The children of St. Peter/St. Francis School have an opportunity to round out their education with our Arts Program, which includes Music, Performing Arts and an Art Program.

Music
On a weekly basis, Mrs. Bush leads our Music Program. The children learn songs and to play instruments. We also have an opportunity for the children to be a part of our choir. The children perform at concerts and special events. Mrs. Bush also provides piano lessons at the school. For more information, please contact Mrs. Bush.

Theatre
We are very excited to welcome Mr. Darren Farrington as our drama director this year. Mrs. Propfe and Miss Visentin will be working with him. Our production this year will be Schoolhouse Rock Live Jr. The students are practicing hard: dancing, acting, and singing! We also have a stage crew who are helping with props and lighting; and some of them are even joining in on our musical numbers! It is sure to be a fun-filled show, and we look forward to seeing all of you at our show in May!

Art Club
Art Club meets every other week from 2:15–3:30 during the school year. Mrs. Raymond, an experienced artist, is the instructor and Mrs. Kelly assists the children. Students may participate in Grades K–8, and currently, there are between 25-40 student artists.
Art Club inspires children’s creativity, imagination and social skills. Students learn many new techniques and principles of art in
a variety of mediums and creative ways. Children receive
drawing lessons, and use oil pastels, crayons, markers, paint
and model magic.
Projects that the children have completed this year to date are Winter Wonderland books, leaf pattern shapes, name illustrations, turkeys, Christmas trees, ornaments and polar bears. Future projects will include Valentines, Saint Patrick’s Day and Easter/Spring crafts and drawings.
